Lourdes

Situated in the southwest of France, at the foot of the Pyrenees, Lourdes is an emblematic city known worldwide for its Marian sanctuary and miraculous waters.

We are not devout practitioners, but we wanted to stop by Lourdes during our journey through the southwest to visit this world-renowned city and perhaps receive the positive vibes of this sacred place.

Clearly, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary is a magnificent monument, and we were captivated by its beauty, its ornaments, and its height.

From the esplanade in front of the building, it is possible to admire Our Lady of the Rosary in its entirety. Two immense ramps lead to the entrance of the building, giving it an extraordinary appearance, a symbol of elevation. That is the feeling we experienced.
