Mola Lighthouse

The Mola Lighthouse, or El Faro de Formentera, is a lighthouse located on the island of Formentera, to the east. It is one of the southernmost points of interest on the Balearic Islands and offers a spectacular view.

Standing at 120 meters above sea level, it is the highest point on the island and is easily accessible by road.

We were able to admire it during our day on the island of Formentera and captured photos and footage of it with a drone.

It's a beautiful lighthouse, freshly renovated in 2019, now housing a museum.

What makes this place exceptional is the feeling of being at the edge of the world. In fact, Jules Verne mentioned this lighthouse in one of his novels as he found it undoubtedly very inspiring.

We recommend parking in this parking lot to access the Mola Lighthouse.
