Cala d'en Serra
Categorized in Ibiza
Cala d'en Serra is a secret cove on Ibiza and one of those little-known spots on the island that's well worth a visit!
We discovered this cove by chance, as it was signposted on the road leading to our hotel. Being curious, we wanted to see for ourselves.
A magnificent secret cove in Ibiza: Cala d'en Serra
You can easily park on the Cami Cala d'en Serra road. It's not tarmacked, but it's ok.
Then you have to take a footpath to get there, but it's wide and not very steep because it's an unpaved road. Don't forget, though, that you'll have to climb back up this path to set off again - it's quite physical.
From this path, you can already appreciate the magnificent view of Cala d'en Serra, as you'll be high up with a bird's-eye view of this magnificent cove.
The path must be 400m long. It leads to an abandoned hotel where you can take some really nice Urbex/street art photos, even if the concrete structure does look a bit out of place in this landscape.
Go around the hotel and follow the path down to the beach.
Cala d'en Serra is a Mediterranean jewel in a veritable jewel box
We recommend that you take the time to observe this magnificent cove, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's an ideal place for meditation and contemplation.
Cala d'en Serra gave us a very special feeling. This is truly a jewel of Ibiza, offering a memorable experience.
