The Montaña Roja

Lanzarote, one of the stunning Canary Islands, is renowned for its natural beauty and breathtaking volcanic landscapes. At the heart of this island stands an iconic emblem of its unique geology: Montaña Roja.

Our rental in Lanzarote was located at the foot of Montaña Roja, so we hiked on this volcano several times because we fell in love with it the first time! The ascent is worth it just for the view at the top, with turquoise ocean on one side and the dormant crater on the other.
