The true name of the Lago Verde is "Charco de los Clicos."
When we arrived at Mirador El Golfo, we were literally blown away! It's a true spectacle of nature.
The crystal-clear water almost seems unreal in its green hue. This natural color comes from the minerals and algae that reside within it.
It's as if nature took its brushes and decided to paint a unique canvas, just for our amazed eyes.

The towering volcano in the background adds an enchanting dimension to this already magical place.
This volcano is indeed unique as it sits on the edge of the ocean. Its eruption caused the collapse of one of its sides. It's this phenomenon that created this lagoon between volcano and ocean.
