In the heart of the rural region of Picardy, the Étangs de la Somme are a must-visit if, like us, you love nature, being outdoors, and admiring the landscape.

We have had several opportunities to visit this natural area because we have family in the area. It is indeed a very pleasant place to stroll, and if you are looking for a family-friendly outing, we can only recommend it.

Of course, on these ponds, you can, like us, meet ducks. But with a bit of luck, you will probably see frogs, herons, and other wildlife. It's a very natural place, far from cities, making it a privileged nature reserve.

We recommend parking not far from the Belvédère and then taking a walk on foot.
